Kat Felicis Ioco is a composer, lyricist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and solo symphonic metal artist who has scored award-winning short films, conducted her own world premieres, and appeared on stage with a variety of metal and classical/concert groups. Her first symphonic metal album, Catharsis, released 25 October 2019 and garnered positive reviews; stay up-to-date with #katcatharsis2019 on social media.

Recent highlights include being part of the music department for Flowstone Saga, a 2024 retro-JRPG-inspired video game; performing Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 at Orchestra Hall; singing lots of opera at VGM Con 2025; and being cast in the Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company’s fall 2025 production of Iolanthe.
